Overview
Dice is the clearest Original for learning probability trade-offs. Higher win chance means lower multiplier; lower chance means higher multiplier.
Rules
Set stake and win chance (or target multiplier).
Choose roll-over or roll-under mode as offered.
Win if the roll satisfies the condition; otherwise lose the stake.
How It Works
If win probability is p and multiplier is approximately (1 − e) / p, then expected value per unit stake is about −e.
This makes Dice an excellent teaching tool for RTP, edge, and variance before exploring more theatrical games.
Payouts
Winning payout ≈ stake × multiplier. Multiplier falls as p rises.
Exact rounding rules can create tiny discrepancies at extreme probabilities — check the client display.
Examples
p = 50%: multiplier near 1.98× at 1% edge.
p = 10%: multiplier near 9.9× at 1% edge.
p = 1%: multiplier near 99× at 1% edge — rare wins, large swings.
Strategies
Avoid on-loss martingale modifiers that explode stake size. They increase ruin risk without changing edge.
Use Dice to calibrate how different p values feel over 100–500 rounds at tiny stakes.
RTP
RTP ≈ 1 − e. Dice usually makes this relationship visible because p and multiplier are shown together.
House Edge
Edge is the gap between fair odds (1/p) and paid odds. Transparent UIs make that gap easy to inspect.
Variance
Variance ≈ function of p: low p ⇒ high variance. Two players with identical RTP can have completely different session shapes.
