Plinko
Plinko is a path-based multiplier game. You choose rows and risk, drop a ball, and land in a bucket with a payout multiplier. Row count and risk reshape the distribution of outcomes.

Overview
Plinko maps a discrete path of left/right decisions into a final slot. More rows increase path length and widen possible multipliers. Risk modes reweight bucket payoffs toward the center or the edges.
Rules
Select stake, row count, and risk level.
Drop one or more balls. Each ball resolves to a bucket multiplier.
Payout equals stake × landed multiplier for that ball.
How It Works
Each peg interaction is an independent random branch (commonly modeled as a binomial path). The probability mass concentrates near the center for low-risk tables and spreads toward tails for high-risk tables.
Because RTP can be held roughly constant while reshaping the distribution, “high risk” is primarily a volatility choice — not a higher edge or a hidden advantage.
Payouts
Center buckets pay closer to 1× on low risk. Edge buckets can pay many multiples on high risk.
Always read the on-screen multiplier row for the selected configuration; tables differ by product version.
Examples
Low risk, mid rows: frequent near-break-even results, occasional small losses/gains — smoother session curves.
High risk, high rows: long stretches of small results punctuated by rare large hits — steeper drawdowns.
Strategies
Pick risk for the variance you can fund, then keep stake fixed while you learn the feel of the distribution.
Do not interpret a dry spell on high risk as evidence the next drop is “owed” a jackpot bucket.
RTP
If RTP is constant across modes, switching risk does not improve long-run return — it only changes how return is delivered.
House Edge
House edge is embedded in the payout table relative to path probabilities. Verify published RTP for your selected rows/risk.
Variance
Variance is the main product differentiator in Plinko. High-risk modes require smaller stakes relative to bankroll if you want comparable ruin risk.
